This section describes the features available to the SEM Developer for editing the 'General' page in a display contained in a SEM library.

* Title Field - Contains the name of the display window. This is the name that will appear in the SEM "Selection" pane and double-clicking on that name in the Selection pane will start the display window.

* Custom Code Filename - This is an 'advanced' feature. It enables an include file that contains substitution text to incorporate script statements into the body of a script at run time. The content of this include file is not over-written when a module is imported, and so it lends itself to customer-specific customisations that do not normally change between different versions of library releases. For an example of its use, please see: "Custom Code Display = Enterprise Accounts" in the "Enterprise Accounts" window of the "SAcM Account Manager" module. Check out the first two and last lines of any script in that display window and also the "Include File" for the "SAcM Account Manager" module.

* Access Control - This field allows restrictions to be placed on a display window so that it is only available to specified SEM users, or to SEM users that have been granted a specific Access Control Token. Access Control Tokens are maintained through the SEM main menu option: "Managers" > "SEM Users" > "Tokens", and are granted to SEM Profiles using the "Managers" > "SEM Users" > "Profiles" menu option.

* Folder - the folder field can be used to place the Display Title in a named folder under the Library in the "Selection Pane" on the SEM desktop. It allows different display types to be grouped together under a common category heading.

* Default Refresh Interval - After a display has been populated with display data it can be automatically refreshed after a time interval defined by this setting.

* Appearance - The font characteristics and background colours etc can be set to a specific setting for this display window by using the "Appearance > Change" option.

* Comment field - This is used to hold the help text associated with the display window. It can be in plain text format or in HTML. The date that the display was created or modified can be added as text using the "C" or "M" buttons.
